Am 12.04 - 14.04.2013 fand die vierte und letzte Runde der EOS Serie in der Dortmunder Modellbaumesse statt. Mit 250 Startern waren wieder einmal alle Klassen 2WD, 2WD SC, 4WD und 4WD SC voll ausgebucht. Das große Absima Team C Rennteam war diesmal mit 21 Fahrern aus ganz Europa vertreten und durch die Unterstützung von Herr Jürgen Laux dem Director von Absima und dem Eigentümer von Team C Herr Stephen Shih hoch motiviert. In der 2WD Short Course Klasse zeigten Marc Schilling und Patrick Beltrallo eine großartige Performance mit ihren Team C TS2TE Trucks. Ihr Trucks waren immer schnell unterwegs und mit einem sehr guten Setup konnten Sie sich für das A und B Finale qualifizieren. Im ersten A-Finale konnte Marc Schilling sich einen respektablen 3ten Platz einfahren. Im 2ten schaffte er es dann auf den 4ten Platz und konnte sich am Ende über einen 5ten Platz im Gesamtergebnis freuen. Patrick absolvierte ebenfalls die Klasse auf dem 5ten Platz im B Finale. In der 4WD Short Course Klasse war ein sehr starkes Line-up an Internationalen Fahren vertreten. Jörg Mampel fuhr als einzigster in dieser Klasse mit dem Team C TS4TE und der Prototyp Elektronik von Absima (Speed Controller und 4 Pole Short Course Brushless Motor). Mit der exzellenten Einstellung seines Trucks welche er beim NRW Rennen am Donnerstag vor dem EOS Rennen fuhr und dieses auch gewann, konnte er sich für das A Finale in der finalen EOS Runde qualifizieren. Am Ende fuhr Jörg auf einen exzellenten 9ten Platz und zeigte in den 3 Runden konstante Zeiten, das spricht für den TS4TE und der Absima Elektronik. Die 4WD Buggy Klasse war voll mit internationalen Superstars wie Ryan Cavalieri, Jörn Neumann, Robert Batlle, Renaud Savoya and David Ronnefalk. Oliver Scholz und Tom Maquel hatten beide das Zeugs dazu im A Finale mit zu fahren aber leider hatte es am Ende nur für das B Finale gereicht. Zusätzlich qualifizierte sich auch Martin Hansen aus Dänemark für das B Finale. Nach Abschluss der EOS Serie 2012/2013 und 3 gewährteten Rennen von 4 konnten sich Oliver und Tom mit ihrem T4 V3 in den Top 10 festsetzten. Oliver kam auf den 8. Platz und Tom auf den 10. Marcus Lübke In der 2WD Buggy Klasse waren die meisten Starter dabei. 120 Internationale Fahrer und einige Superstars aus USA, Spanien, Frankreich, Österreich, Deutschland und Schweden mit den selben Namen wie in 4WD. 15 Team C TM2 2WD Buggies wurden von von Absima Team C gesteuert. Aus dem Deutschland Team waren Oliver, Tom und Marcus die schnellsten wobei sich Tom für das A Finale mit seinem TM2 qualifizieren konnte. Dieses Ergebnis war sehr erfolgreich da gleich 3 TM2 Buggies im B Finale waren, der eine vom Dänen Torben Hojfeld, Marcus Lübke und Oliver Scholz. Nach Abschluss der EOS Serie 2012/2013 mit 3 Gewährteten von 4 Rennen konnten sich Oliver, Marcus, Tom und Torben mit Ihren TM2 in den Top 10 festsetzten. Oliver kam auf den 4. Platz, Marcus auf den 8. Platz, Tom auf den 9. Platz und Torben auf den 10. Platz. Absima und Team C gratuliert dem ganzen Team zu diesem exzellenten Erfolg in der 4. Runde der EOS Serie, für Tom der im 2WD A Finale mit fuhr, für die Top 10 Saison Platzierungen von Oliver, Marcus, Tom und Torben und an die aufregende und spannende Team Performance in der EOS Serie 2012/2013. Tom Maquel 10. Torben Hojfeld EOS Dortmund 2013 On April 12th-14th 2013 the Final Rd. 4 of the EOS Series was held at the Dortmund Model Fair, same location for the Final EOS round as in 2012. With 250 entries the driver field was again fully booked out in all 4 classes 2WD, 2WD SC, 4WD and 4WDSC. The big Absima TeamC race team this time was formed by 21 team drivers from Europe and got a huge support with the appearance of Jürgen Laux the Director of Absima and Stephen Shih the owner of TeamC. This should become very important for the team for this round of the EOS series. In 2WD Short Course Marc Schilling and Patrick Beltrallo put in a great race performance both driving the TeamC TS2TE Truck. Their Trucks always looked fast and with great set-ups they managed to qualify for the A and B Final of the race event. Marc Schilling achieved a very respectful 3rd place in the first A-final and with a 4th in the second A Final he could secure and overall 5th place in this class for the event. Patrick also finished 5th in the B-Final whereas he also could put in a great 3rd place finish in the 3. B Final. 4WD Short Course had a very strong line up of international drivers whereas Jörg Mampel driving the TeamC TS4TE Truck and using the new prototype Absima Speed Controller and 4 pole Short Course brushless motor was the only Absima TeamC driver in this category. With excellent preparation of his Truck from the NRW race held on Thursday before the EOS event, which Jörg already won the 4WD SC class, he could qualify for the A-Final of the EOS final round. In the end Jörg finished with a respectful 9th place with consistent 3 A-Final runs and showing the consistent performance of the TeamC 4WDSC Truck and the new Absima Electronics. The 4WD buggy class had international super stars from all around the world such ach Ryan Cavalieri, Jörn Neumann, Robert Battle, Renaud Savoya and David Ronnefalk to mention just a few. Qualifying saw 8 Absima TeamC drivers racing the new TeamC T4V3 4WD buggy competing against some of the best drivers in the world. Oliver Scholz and Tom Maquel both had the pace for an A-Final spot and each putting in single Top 10 results but in addition of 2 fast qualification rounds it would just not be enough in this strong driver filed and both lined up in the B-Final with a surprise qualifying of Martin Hansen from Denmark to also qualify in the B-Final together with Oliver and Tom. After completing the EOS Series 2012/2013 with counting 3 rounds of 4 race meeting in addition Oliver and Tom could place their TeamC T4V3 in the Top10 finally with very respectful 8th and 10th places for the season series results. Marcus Lübke The 2WD buggy class had the most entries with 120 international drivers and many super stars from the USA, Spain, France, Austria, Germany and Sweden with the same names as in 4WD. 15 TeamC TM2 2WD buggies were piloted by the Absima TeamC team drivers with very good drivers throughout the field. From the German Team Oliver, Tom and Marcus all put in very good single round Top 10 results in qualifying and in the end Tom was able to line up his TeamC TM2 in the A-Final along with all the professional Team drivers of the other world teams. This result got very much backed up by putting further 3 TM2 buggies into the B-Final the ones of Denmark’s Torben Hojfield, Marcus Lübke and Oliver Scholz which should lead to another surprise result for the Absima TeamC Team. After completing the EOS Series 2012/2013 with counting 3 rounds of 4 race meeting in addition Oliver, Marcus, Tom and Torben could place their TeamC TM2 in the Top10 finally with very respectful 4th, 8th, 9th, and 10th places for the season series results.
