Hi. I'm Bertram Kessler and I've enjoyed a successful working partnership with Italian engine manufacturers NOVA ROSSI for over 25 years now. I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you about the NOVA ROSSI glow plugs and give you some background information. NOVA ROSSI was one of the first manufacturers to start using glow plugs with a conical seat (or "turbo plugs") in its model engines. This new technology was later improved further with a special coating, available as the Gold version. Now virtually every other engine manufacturer uses the conical seat system. From 1986 right through to 2009 we had no trouble at all with the glow plugs produced by NOVA ROSSI - they were an extremely durable, high-performance, reliable piece of kit. In 2009 and 2010, however, the quality of the glow plugs suffered as a result of problems with the suppliers and they didn't meet the usual high standards in terms of performance and durability. NOVA ROSSI has since recognised this problem and from this year the glow plugs are once again being manufactured based on the proven Cesare Rossi method. Extensive testing by our team drivers has shown that the glow plugs are back to delivering an above-average performance as they were pre-2009 and that the plug life is now fully in line with expectations. Based on the findings from our tests I would recommend the following combinations: - for 2.11 ccm engines: C5, C6, or C7TGF/TGH plugs - for 3.5 ccm engines: C7, C8TGF/TGH, or the brand new C9TGH - for 3.5 ccm offroad engines: C5, C6, or C7TGC/TGH These new plug models should help all enthusiastic racing drivers get consistent, reliable and powerful performance from their engines.
